Matthias Müller (*1998) is a composer, performer and sound artist, living and working in Bern. He holds a Master’s degree in Composition Creative Practice and a Bachelor’s in Sound Arts from the Bern University of the Arts.

In his artistic practice he explores and creates mixed forms of sound performance, listening piece and installation by interweaving acoustic and electronic sounds, objects, lights, space, silence, actions and inactions. He often works closely with other people and performs music theater, sound performances, improvisations and live electronics with and in existing and one-off groups. He is co-founder of the collective Portakal Radikal with performance artist Jasmin Kiranoglu.

His works have recently been showcased in festivals such as Fleckl, Bern, CH (25), Fiestohr, Bern, CH (25), Bone, Bern, CH (24), Frequenz, Kiel, DE (24) and ACT, Bern, CH (23); and performed by, amongst others, Ensemble Modern, ruído blanco, Berner Kammerorchester and Vokalensemble Ardent.
