Matthias Müller (*1998, Basel, CH) is a composer, performer and sound artist, living and working in Bern, Switzerland.
2018-2021: B.A. in Sound Arts, Bern Academy of Arts
2022-2024: M.A. in Composition Creative Practice, Bern Academy of Arts
In his artistic practice he explores and creates mixed forms of sound performance, listening piece and installation by interweaving acoustic and electronic sounds, objects, lights, space, silence, actions and inactions. He often works closely with other people and performs music theater, sound performances, improvisations and live electronics in multiple duos and groups.
His works have recently been exhibited and performed at Frequenz Festival, Kiel, DE (24), Prozess, Bern, CH (24), Kulturesk Festival, Bern, CH (24), Mozarteum University Salzburg, AU (23), ACT Festival, PROGR, Bern, CH (23), ToBe Gallery, Bern, CH (23), Ai Molti Tresori Gallery, Mendrisio, CH (23), Französische Kirche, Bern, CH (22) and the Musikfestival Bern, CH (20/21).
